HIREMINDER
During my master’s program, I led a multidisciplinary team in designing a digital platform to support recent graduates in navigating the job search process. The platform centralized all job-related tasks in one place—application tracking, interview scheduling, deadline reminders, and status updates, reducing reliance on scattered tools like spreadsheets, calendars, and emails. My role included guiding the research direction, defining product scope, facilitating design decisions, and coordinating team collaboration from concept through prototype. The result was a streamlined solution aimed at reducing stress and providing clarity, structure, and confidence during the early career transition.
A significant portion of the project was dedicated to research. We conducted surveys, interviews, journey mapping, and competitive analysis to deeply understand the emotional and practical challenges faced by students transitioning into the workforce. Through this research, it became clear that beyond organizational tools, many graduates also craved connection and reassurance—wanting to feel less isolated during a shared yet stressful life milestone. These insights shaped the platform’s direction: in addition to managing tasks, it incorporated community-driven elements such as peer-to-peer support, shared insights, and milestone celebration features. The final concept aimed not just to organize the job search, but to transform it into a more supportive, collective, and empowering experience.
